Director Lynn Kinoshita- Nakamoto studied
dance for many years beginning at the age of 9 at Rosalie Woodsen Dance Academy.
She is also proud to have had the opportunity to continue onto other locations all over the island including
UH, Hawaii State Ballet, Marie Takazawa and Diamond Head Theatre.
At a young age she started gymnastics training at The Children's House and
later moved up to Leeward Gymnastics. As an adult she trained at What's Up
Gymnastics for personal fun and fitness as well as, participating in fitness competitions.
Ms.Lynn is trained in Hula, Tahitian, Japanese Dance, and
has taught Ballroom Dancing with the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association. She
has also studied Martial Arts including Judo, Aikido, Wing Chun, Kick Boxing
and Kempo.
Her education includes a BA in dance from UH Manoa, and is a licensed
massage therapist and is currently attending the University of Phoenix for her
Masters in Elementary Education.
Ms.Lynn has performed in many theater shows on the island at Diamond Head Theatre and Army
Theatre at Ft.Shafter. Latest roles include: Apache dancer/wife in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat, Rumpleteazer in CATS, Bird Girl in Seussical,
Tiger Lily in Peter Pan, and Rosalita in West Side Story.
